Payments, status & receipts
How KNET, balances, payment status, receipts and booking confirmation fit together.
Portal payments are made by KNET
Review the amount and booking before leaving for KNET. Complete the payment once and return to the portal. Do not retry merely because the return page is slow; first check the booking and My Payments for the result.
Understand the payment row
- Outstanding bookings show what remains due.
- A payment row identifies the related booking, amount, method and status.
- A receipt becomes available for a completed payment.
| Payment status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| PENDING | The payment result has not yet been completed in the portal. Wait and recheck before trying again. |
| COMPLETED | The amount is recorded and included in the paid total. |
| REFUNDED | The original payment has a completed refund association. |
Payment alone does not always confirm the booking
A booking becomes confirmed only when the required payment and document checks are complete. Paying first can leave the booking PENDING while documents await verification; verifying documents first can leave it pending while a balance remains.
- Booking status summarises the overall result, not payment alone.
- Total, paid and balance show whether money is still outstanding.
- Check the Documents tab when the balance is zero but the booking remains pending.
Open a receipt and check balances
Use My Payments or the booking’s Payments tab. Completed rows have a receipt link. If you paid for other travellers, use the For others filter. The booking balance is the amount still due for that booking, not a second charge.
