Who can be added to your booking

You can select yourself, your system-linked family and members of a custom group whose membership has been confirmed. Custom-group access remains private until the invited person enters the shared code. If the correct person is missing, check family and group membership before contacting support.

Traveller selection and booking cart
  1. Available people come from your confirmed family and group relationships.
  2. Selected travellers appear in the cart with their fare details.
  3. Correct residency and traveller details before moving to documents.

Why a child must be tagged with a parent

Travel applications and safeguarding checks require the office to know which travelling parent is responsible for a child. For every traveller under 18, the portal asks for at least one parent and requires an actual mother or father to be included on the booking. Another adult relative does not replace that relationship.

  1. Add the child and their travelling mother or father to the same booking.
  2. Select the correct parent when the parent prompt appears.
  3. If the family relationship shown is wrong, correct the profile relationship or raise a support request before submitting.
The portal records only the relationship needed to prepare the journey correctly. It does not display internal application or verification notes.

Adding a traveller after submission

The booking owner can add eligible travellers while the booking is still PENDING. Adding someone changes the total and creates new document requirements, so the portal takes you directly to the Documents tab afterwards. The new traveller is not “finished” merely because their name appears.

Traveller section on a booking
  1. The active traveller list is the current booking party.
  2. Add travellers only when the booking still permits changes.
  3. After adding, complete the person’s documents and review the revised balance.

Removing yourself or requesting a cancellation

Before any payment, a traveller may be able to withdraw their own seat from a pending booking. Once payment is recorded or the booking is confirmed, use the cancellation-request workflow so the office can review the booking and any refund. See Cancellation & refund requests.

Withdrawing or cancelling changes the active traveller list. Do not use it as a temporary hide or edit action.
